This chart represents the distribution of beliefs among cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy regarding how well (or not well) they adhere to their treatment plan and medication regime throughout their chemotherapy experience. Roughly two-thirds of chemotherapy patients claim they are able to follow their treatment plan and take their medications exactly as prescribed “Very Well” (67 percent), while 1 out of 4 cancer patients say they follow their plan “Somewhat Well” (25 percent).  A minority admits that they do not follow their plan well during treatment, with 2 percent describing their adherence performance as “not very well,” and another 2 percent “not well at all.”
