This chart shows what types of side-effects medications cancer patients are typically prescribed while going through cancer treatment.  More than two-thirds of cancer patients (68 percent) said they are given medications for Nausea or Vomiting. Additionally, 37% of cancer patients reported being prescribed medications for managing Pain. While undergoing treatment, roughly one-third of cancer patients responded they were prescribed medications for Constipation (36%) and Anxiety (35%), while 31% of cancer patients said they were given medications for Diarrhea. 23% reported being prescribed side-effects medication for Loss of Sleep, and 19% for Fatigue. Also, 18% of cancer patients responded that they were prescribed medication for treating Depression.
